This Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) Level 2 Award qualification meets the requirement of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, where a person is required to become a qualified ‘First Aider’ (EFAW) in their workplace.
As a minimum, a low-risk workplace such as a small office should have a first-aid box and a person appointed to take charge of first-aid arrangements, such as calling the emergency services if necessary. Employers must provide information about first-aid arrangements to their employees.

The Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments. Our course is particularly suitable for lower risk environments or where a course is needed to compliment other first aid provision. Regular attendees include those working in schools, nurseries, offices and many small and medium sized businesses.
Duration: The Emergency First Aid at Work training is delivered in 1 Day over a 6 hour period – We can deliver this course directly in your place of work anywhere in North Wales.

This 6 hour course is designed for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide First Aid when dealing with an emergency situation. After successful completion of the course all learners will have the confidence, skills and knowledge to provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

Emergency First Aid AT Work – Assessment and Certification:
Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) Level 2 Award qualification – Assessment for this course is ongoing by the instructor throughout the course. On completion of the training delegates will receive an accredited Certification – Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) Valid for 3 Years.

Each Delegate will receive a FREE First Aid at Work manual on attending this course and because this is a fully accredited Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work course you can be assured that you have fulfilled your legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training to your staff. We will always be updating our course content and implementing changes as required by the HSE in delivery of our First Aid at Work training courses.
